A Case Study on the Elderly Woman Who Has Divorced

Abstract

|
This study was a case study on the elderly woman who has divorced, and conducted in-depth interviews with th participant through purposeful sampling. This study progressed with a single case owing to the difficulty in recruiting cases, and focused on exploring and describing the experiences of a divorced elderly woman through the statements of a research participant. The analysis method focused on understanding a case itself, and approached with an intrinsic case study among case study types which had classified. According to the analysis results, the divorced elderly woman got the divorce of the elderly due to spousal loans, debt guarantee, domestic violence, and extramarital affairs, and felt free and easy, afraid of public attention, too old to fly despite flapping the wings in the life after a divorce. Based on these analysis results, this study suggested the service offer and program development specialized in the elderly women who have divorced.
